Software Dev Manager, HST Health Foundation
We are looking for a highly motivated, software development leader with both business and technical acumen to work on Amazon Health. You will have the opportunity to build, scale, and shape the direction of this business. This role requires deep technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and strong business judgment. You will be responsible for services that can be deployed globally, delivering an exceptional customer experience, providing thought leadership in a fast-paced development environment, and partnering with product management and senior leaders to ensure the success of this program.

About the team

Towards this mission, we (Health Store and Tech) are building the technology, products, and services that help customers find, buy, and engage with the healthcare solutions they need.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years of engineering team management experience
* 7+ years of engineering experience
* 8+ years of experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services
* Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations
* Experience partnering with product or program management teams
* Experience designing or architecting systems (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
* Experience recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills and effectiveness
