Manager, Professional Education Team – Learning, Human Resources, Audit and Assurance ACA Transformation

Salary: £46,000.00‑£105,000.00 (depending on experience)
Overview
As a Senior Manager within the Professional Education Team, you will drive the transformation of our Graduate Audit Training Programme, partner with stakeholders across the firm, and lead a team of qualification managers to deliver a world‑class learning experience for early‑career professionals.
Responsibilities
* Lead the transformation of the Graduate Audit Training Model for September 2026, collaborating with Audit stakeholders to align the programme with evolving business needs, implementing a new ACA pathway, reviewing and adjusting policies, and communicating updates to candidates and internal teams.
* Engage strategically with Audit and Assurance partners to implement the vision and direction of the new A&A Graduate Training programme, ensuring alignment with business objectives and a consistent, high‑quality student experience.
* Collaborate with HR and partner teams to develop robust governance frameworks, policies and processes that enhance the quality and impact of professional education programmes.
* Build and nurture relationships with key HR stakeholders to optimise the student experience from recruitment, onboarding through to professional qualification attainment.
* Represent Deloitte in engagements with external professional bodies such as the ICAEW to influence policy development and ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Oversee the operational delivery of the new A&A programme with our supplier, ensuring a seamless and high‑quality experience for students and their managers.
* Manage the Student Advisory Service team and external supplier to define, monitor and continuously improve Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators.
* Provide escalation and resolution during programme rollout, utilising data‑driven insights to evaluate impact and recommend improvements.
* Continuously engage with senior Audit stakeholders to drive the learning strategy forward and integrate it with broader talent initiatives.
Qualifications
* Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAEW or ICAS) with experience in professional education and development, specialising in accounting and tax qualifications such as ACA, ICAS, CFAB, CIMA or equivalent.
* Experience supporting professional qualification programmes within a complex, matrixed organisation.
* Understanding of early‑careers development frameworks.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with a demonstrated ability to build relationships and collaborate with diverse stakeholder groups.
* Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with experience using data and insights to support strategic decision‑making and measure programme effectiveness.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to convey complex information to varied audiences, both written and verbal.
* Project management experience, with a proven record of delivering initiatives on time and within budget.
* People management experience.
* Proficient in utilizing digital platforms and analytical tools to enhance programme delivery and effectiveness.
* Experience in the professional services industry is highly desirable.
* Minimum a bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
