About the role of Product Owner This is an excellent opportunity for a Product Owner to join our Systems business and help to define and deliver a key component of our Maritime Surveillance and Fisheries Monitoring solution. The Product Owner will work within one or more cross-functional development teams, focussed on definition and refinement of innovative new features that align to the Systems roadmap and wider business strategy. What You'll Be Doing as a Product Owner - not exhaustive: Act as Product Owner for SRT's Systems Marine Domain Awareness application teams Work with a cross-functional team to integrate new Features into our maritime domain awareness solutions Collaborate with stakeholders, technical SMEs, and customers to define and refin e innovative new features for our roadmap Evolve early product concepts into features that solve our users' problems Be the subject matter expert on our Systems MDA Application Work closely with UX/UI design colleagues to ensure new features meet a high bar for usability and visual impact Build strong relationships your stakeholders and ensure alignment across development teams Present features to the wider team and stakeholders in regular reviews Train our Customer Success and Support teams on new functionality Understand wider end-to-end use cases for our systems technologies, and how the Features that you define fit into an overall system solution Use your experience to help evolve our agile development process What You'll Bring to the role of Product Owner Product ownership experience, ideally developing technology for B2B or B2G You can demonstrate a good understanding of best practice in Agile software delivery and the role of a product owner in that context You're comfortable working at pace, managing change and removing uncertainty You have experience collaborating with UX/UI designers, data scientists, and developers A clear and concise communicator, able to bring complex topics to a non-technical audience and infer requirements from non-technical stakeholders and users You are pragmatic in your approach to Product Management and Agile delivery You're able to clearly convey requirements in both formal requirements documentation and user story format Some background in software development, solution architecture or another technical discipline will be beneficial as you'll need to hold your own in technical discussions with our team and suppliers You're happy to stretch your product skills into software delivery management Why join us here at SRT Work on mission-critical mari time surveillance systems used worldwide Be part of an ambitious, innovative, and supportive team Make a direct impact on global maritime safety and sustainability Enjoy flexible hybrid working Competitive salary and benefits, including: Matched pension contributions up to 5% 25 days annual leave (rising to 28 with service) Private health care Development and training programmes SRT Marine Systems plc is an equal opportunity employer.
