Paraplanner - Dorking
Our client is seeking a Paraplanner to join their team in Dorking. Working closely with the Head of Advice, you will communicate and prepare advice and reports for clients, providing accurate information and tailored deals to help them make informed decisions. You will also be involved in developing processes related to client charging, onboarding, and information management. This role offers potential for qualification as an adviser and future progression to Head of Office.
Leadership/Governance
* Prepare letters, presentations, and reports for senior management.
* Ensure the office culture aligns with the company's overall values.
Compliance
* Complete FCA training requirements and maintain personal CPD records.
* Work with the Head of Advice to foster a compliance-focused branch culture.
* Assist the Compliance Manager in monitoring client onboarding and communication to meet company and FCA standards.
Training & Competence
* Ensure personal Training & Competence requirements are fulfilled.
Client Acquisition
* Support the Head of Advice in developing business goals.
* Assist in implementing strategies to achieve business objectives.
* Promote the company within the local community, including networking and attending events.
* Present at company events and conferences to enhance brand visibility.
* Build a confident public image to attract clients through word-of-mouth.
* Engage with clients via meetings at the office, their homes, or business premises.
* Conduct comprehensive reviews of clients' financial situations and objectives.
* Analyze information and develop tailored financial plans.
* Inform clients about company products and services.
* Design financial strategies and assist clients in making informed decisions.
* Research from various sources, including financial providers.
* Review and adapt plans based on clients' changing circumstances.
* Promote and sell financial products to meet sales targets.
* Coordinate with other professionals like estate agents, solicitors, and valuers.
* Stay updated on financial products and legislation.
* Notify clients of new products or legislative changes affecting their investments.
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements regarding disclosure, costs, and advised products.
Reporting
* Assist in reviewing reports related to financial calculations.
Human Resources
* Build relationships and collaborate with colleagues across locations.
