Customer Service Advisor
Full-time permanent role
Monday-Friday 09:00-17:00 (37.5 hours per week, including a 30-minute lunch break)
Location: Haywards Heath - modern offices, 10-minute walk from the station. On-site parking and nearby free street parking available.
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per year, with excellent company benefits including a pension scheme, employee benefits, social events, and a staff Christmas party.
The Role - Customer Service Advisor
This position involves a mix of phone-based customer service and administrative work in a busy, friendly office within an expanding organization.
Customer Service Advisor duties include:
1. Answering and resolving customer queries via telephone and email, taking ownership of each task.
2. General policy administration.
3. Proactively following up on customer inquiries and converting them into policies where possible.
4. Ensuring customer satisfaction is exceeded.
5. Producing high-quality documents and maintaining computer records.
6. Gaining a strong understanding of company products.
7. Ensuring compliance with company and regulatory policies.
8. Undertaking regular learning and development activities.
Experience, competencies, and knowledge required:
1. Experience in a telephone-based or customer-facing/support role.
2. Good general education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
3. Customer-focused with a passion for exceeding expectations.
4. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
5. Good prioritization and time management skills with high accuracy.
6. Good IT skills and a keen interest in learning new systems.
