Pertemps are recruiting Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, a global market leader in logistics. Based in Doncaster, the role supports a nationwide home delivery operation for one of Britain’s largest retailers – providing the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses.
Duties include:
Home delivery of furniture to retail customers
Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
Supervising/helping to load and unload goods
Securing loads safely
Following traffic reports and adjusting routes if required
Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (HGV C) licence
No more than 6 points & free from serious endorsements (for insurance purposes)
Valid DIGI & CPC card
Smart appearance with excellent customer service skills Job Details:
Daily start times between 05:00 – 08:00
Accompanied by a Driver’s Mate
Multi-drop deliveries (handball required)
Customer-facing role Pay & Benefits:
£17.31 per hour (Monday–Sunday)
Guaranteed 9 hours pay per shift
