Job Title: Behaviour Support/Mentor Location: Dinnington (S25) Pay rate: £460 - £600 per week (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Are you passionate about supporting young people to overcome barriers and achieve success? GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Behaviour Support/Mentor to work in schools across Dinnington (S25), providing targeted support to pupils who require guidance with behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing. As a Behaviour Support/Mentor, you will work closely with students who may face social, emotional, or behavioural challenges, helping them build confidence, resilience, and positive coping strategies. Key Duties: Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring as a Behaviour Support/Mentor. Implement behaviour intervention strategies in line with school policies. Support pupils in managing emotions and making positive choices. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents. Essential Requirements: Experience working with children or young people with behavioural or SEMH needs. A calm, patient, and consistent approach. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. The ability to remain resilient in challenging situations. An enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one.
