As one of the fastest growing and highest rated commercial energy suppliers in the UK, we are looking to recruit an experienced Sales Team Manager, based at our offices in Guiseley, Leeds.
The Sales Team Manager will play a critical leadership role in this transition. This is a hands-on management position with full ownership of team performance, standards, and culture. You will lead from the front in a high-activity B2B outbound environment, driving results, enforcing KPIs, and holding people accountable for delivery.
This is not a support or administrative role. It is a leadership role with real authority and commercial responsibility.

Responsibilities:
The role will focus on driving performance, enforcing standards, and creating a high-performing, accountable sales environment. Key responsibilities include:
* Full line management responsibility for a team of outbound B2B sales professionals (Account Managers / SDRs / AEs).
* Acting as the day-to-day leader of the sales floor, setting pace, expectations, and standards.
* Owning team performance across activity, conversion, revenue, and quality.
* Setting, monitoring, and enforcing daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs.
* Running structured 1:1s and performance reviews focused on outcomes and delivery.
* Managing underperformance and implementing improvement plans where required.
* Ensuring disciplined end-to-end pipeline management and accurate forecasting through CRM.
* Reviewing and challenging deal quality, progression, and close probability.
* Maintaining consistent call quality, objection handling, and commercial discipline.
* Supporting onboarding and performance ramp-up of new starters.
* Reporting clearly on performance, risks, and opportunities to the Head of Direct Sales.
* Working cross-functionally with Pricing, Support, and Operations to support customer onboarding.
* Acting as deputy to the Head of Direct Sales when required
The Individual:
We are looking for a confident, commercially focused sales manager with a proven track record of managing outbound B2B teams and delivering results. You will be comfortable setting expectations, holding people accountable, and leading from the front in a high-activity sales environment.

* Proven experience managing an outbound B2B sales team.
* Strong track record of improving team performance against KPIs.
* Confident managing performance and addressing under-delivery.
* Strong organisational skills with a focus on structure and consistency.
Desirable:
* Experience leading teams through change.
* Energy or regulated industry experience.
* Strong reporting and analytical capability.
* HubSpot CRM experience.
* Hands-on leadership style with strong presence on the sales floor.

• Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 base + £10k–£18k OTE
