Position Overview
Working within the Infrastructure Strategic Planning & Governance (ISPG) team, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Estate Optimisation Manager to deliver effective estate strategies, ensuring alignment with wider infrastructure plans and organisational objectives.
This role combines administration, coordination, and stakeholder engagement, helping to manage estate planning processes, governance, and infrastructure requirements through robust change management tools.
️ Key Responsibilities
* Support alignment of Strategic Objectives with infrastructure plans and wider delivery programmes
* ️ Provide administrative support for the development and ongoing management of:
o Siting strategies
o Estate utilisation plans
* ⚖️ Ensure alignment with site governance frameworks and infrastructure priorities
* Act as secretary for governance meetings, supporting Authority control of the estate
* Assist in managing siting requirements and formal space allocations, including maintaining risk and issue registers
* Work closely with stakeholders to support issue resolution and effective planning outcomes
* ️ Support estate utilisation planning teams, helping translate requirements into delivery
* Contribute to the Infrastructure Change process, ensuring siting and estate strategies are effectively implemented
* Support early engagement with internal and external stakeholders to maintain alignment with strategic goals
* Provide administrative support to the Estates Plan 2029 programme
* Ensure all estate and siting documentation is:
o Accurate
o Up to date
o Properly stored and communicated
* Work with a wide range of stakeholders across a complex, regulated environment
* Gain exposure to major infrastructure programmes and governance processes
Qualifications
Skills / experience required for this role:
1. MS O365 proficient.
2. Strong administration and governance skills.
3. Effective stakeholder management and engagement at all levels.
4. Strong presentation and communication skills.
5. Organised with ability to work on own initiative and be proactive.
Additional Information
Due to the nature of this role the successful candidate will require Security clearance. To gain this they will be required to be a Sole UK national, Hybrid working from home/client site in Helensburgh
