Job Description
Trainee CAD Designer Pertemps are working with an established Manufacturing business based in Southampton who are recruiting for a Trainee CAD Designer to join their team. This is a full time, permanent position. Responsibilities as a Trainee CAD Designer:
o Complete 2D drawings as per company standard
o Complete inhouse training & develop understanding of products
o Create and maintain supporting drawing documents
o Produce schematic drawings in line with company standards
o Support with creating and updating of technical drawings, assist with electrical panel and schematic drawings diagrams.
Requirements:
o Level 3 Electrical and Engineering qualification.
o Understanding of AutoCAD or Solid Works
o Meticulous attention to detail
o Enthusiastic and eager to learn
o Basic understanding of electrical principles
The Trainee CAD Designer role:
o Starting Salary of £26,227.50
o Monday – Friday 9am – 5.30pm
o 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays (rising up to 25 days with length of service)
