Job Title: SEN Teacher Location: Wakefield (WF4) Pay rate: Upto £220 per day (Depending on experience) Start Date: Immediate Contract type -Day-to-day/ Long-term, Full-time/ Part-time Support pupils with special educational needs and help them achieve their full potential. GSL Education are delighted to appoint a committed SEN Teacher for a school in the WF4 area of Wakefield. As a Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher, you will plan and deliver targeted lessons, provide tailored support, and work closely with pupils to address their individual learning needs. Main Responsibilities: Deliver structured lessons to pupils with SEN in line with the curriculum. Develop individual education plans (IEPs) and track pupil progress. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and well-managed learning environment. Collaborate with staff, parents, and external agencies to support pupils. Promote independence, confidence, and engagement in learning. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as a SEN Teacher in a school setting. Strong classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
