Job Description
GSC Executives have been instructed to appoint a Senior Finance Manager on behalf of an award winning leading property services contractor in London. The role is to be the No2 across the business to the Financial Controller. To manage the day to day activities of a Finance office responsible for delivery of the Management Accounts, maintaining the Margins on all Projects assist the Budgeting/ Forecasting process. Experience in Repairs & Maintenance/ Property Services is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
To ensure the highest quality of accurate financial management information is produced in a timely fashion to facilitate effective and efficient management of the business.
Variance analysis and commentary for Financial Controller & Operational Directors
Hold meetings by Contract to challenge and ensure each Contract is reported accurately.

* Budgeting

* Reconciliations
* Balance Sheet Control
* Expert in digital transformation
* Detailed P&L analysis
* Monthly / Weekly WIP Reviews
Identify risk and apply mitigation measures
To constantly make improvements to procedures, systems, and develop best practice.
To ensure scalability of processes, systems etc. to adapt to the growth of the business.
To review monthly WIP reporting and submissions. Interrogate and challenge margins ensuring correct revenue recognition and reporting across operational divisions.
To assist the Financial Controller in reviewing and updating finance policy and procedures.
To assist the Financial Controller with the annual audit
Person specification:
Essential:
Facilities Management / Planned contracts experience
Dynamics FinOps and CE Systems management and control experience
Accurate application of statutory legislation
Excel advanced level
QS experience in value vs costs for margin analysis
Desirable:
ACA, ACCA or CIMA professional accounting qualification
Senior financial management experience in similar sized business (£300m)
5 years + Senior finance experience.
