The key responsibilities of a CapEx Negotiator: Negotiations: Deliver measurable cost savings through negotiations to agreed targets based on value or % of spend to improve business profitability. Contracts: Negotiate commercially advantageous terms and conditions, balancing quality, cost, and risk. Vendor Management: Develop, implement, and operate vendor management strategies. Ensure suppliers comply with standards and established criteria. Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage sourcing strategies to deliver measurable cost savings. Team and Operation Support: Provide commercial support to internal stakeholders and team members to ensure best commercial outcomes within governance frameworks. Support implementation of strategic sourcing methodology aligned with operational needs. Health and Safety: Ensure relevant health and safety policies are implemented and maintained across all procurement interactions to provide a safe and healthy working environment. The skills & qualities needed for the CapEx Negotiator: High level understanding and awareness of operational businesses, markets, suppliers and trading area(s). A commercial thinker with high level commercial acumen. Operational experience to fully understand what our business objectives are within our markets and how they are achieved and operate. Negotiation experience with proven track record of delivering consistent annual savings. Dominates in Negotiation, Contract Negotiation, Negotiation Strategy, Strategic Sourcing Methodology, Project Management, Finance for Project Evaluation and is Analytical. Technical Knowledge: Supply Chain, Supply Market Trends, Knowledge ofProduct Quality Requirements, Operational Production Process, Products Materials and their application.
