Bralin Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Shot Blast Technician to join a leading manufacturer in Winsford. This is a hands-on role, preparing steel components for protective coating, and offers long-term opportunities for the right candidate. The Role As a Shot Blast Technician, you’ll be responsible for shot blasting a range of metals and heavy fabrications, ensuring they are ready for finishing to the highest standard. Working closely with the production management team, you’ll play an important role in delivering quality products on time. Key Duties * Preparing steel components through shot blasting for protective coating * Ensuring all work meets health & safety regulations * Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised work area * Minimising waste and using materials efficiently * Supporting other production tasks when required (training provided) What We’re Looking For * Previous hands-on experience in shot blasting or paint-spraying * Background in commercial vehicle bodywork or trailer manufacturing (desirable) * Experience with automotive painting on stainless steel, mild steel, or aluminium * Organised, proactive, and able to work to production targets * Strong attention to detail and quality focus Hours of Work * Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm * Friday: 7:30am – 3:30pm (Some flexibility required – occasional evening or weekend work may be needed) Competitive hourly rate Full training provided on additional tasks Chance to develop with a well-established manufacturer
