Job Description:
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across various clinical and non-clinical roles. We provide a range of services including acute hospital, primary, community, and mental health care to a population of over 1.15 million, expanding to 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
This is a fixed-term position for 6 months.

The shift pattern is Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:00, with Tuesday finishing at 16:30.
The role involves supporting effective clinical care by providing efficient Health Records services, ensuring accurate administration and processing of patient appointments, and maintaining confidentiality and security of patient records.
Additional responsibilities include providing administrative, clerical, and receptionist services, maintaining electronic and paper-based patient records, and updating patient demographic and administrative data.
* National 4 or Level 1 qualification in three subjects, including English, or equivalent.
* General administration or clerical experience is desirable.
* Proficiency in computer use and good keyboard skills.
* Reception experience is desirable.
* Experience with a Patient Management System is preferred, but training will be provided.
This position is GGC-wide and may be located at any site, initially based at the Royal Hospital for Children. The position may close early depending on application interest.
