Engineering Manager £500/day GMP Manufacturing

Contract: Day Rate £450 £500/day
Duration: 6 Months
We re seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead engineering and maintenance operations at a high-performing GMP manufacturing site, ensuring quality, compliance, and on-time delivery.
You ll be the driving force behind regulatory excellence, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement, supporting manufacturing plans and ensuring uninterrupted supply.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and optimise engineering/maintenance activities for maximum efficiency and cGMP compliance.
* Oversee installation, commissioning, and maintenance of facilities, plant, and critical systems.
* Maintain high service levels with clear KPIs and robust quality controls.
* Drive continuous improvement culture and provide training to develop team capability.
* Collaborate with QA and Production to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
* Keep the team aligned with industry best practices and regulatory standards.
About You:
* Degree (or equivalent) in an engineering/maintenance discipline.
* Extensive experience in GMP or a regulated production environment (aerospace, automotive, food, Pharma ).
* Proven project management and leadership skills.
* Strong communicator with strategic thinking abilities.
* Able to thrive under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and inspire a team.
