The Team
The Small Medium Business (SMB) teams are responsible for Deliveroo's relationships with thousands of independent restaurant and retail partners operating on the Deliveroo marketplace across several markets in Europe. The SMB team manages the full partner lifecycle, from initial acquisition and onboarding to reactive support and proactive account management.
The Role
As a UKI Sales Team Leader, you will lead and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) focused on acquiring new restaurant partners for the Deliveroo platform. Your primary responsibilities include overseeing outbound call campaigns, monitoring pipeline health, and maximizing sales performance. You will ensure the team delivers a positive and seamless partner experience during onboarding, supporting our growth and enabling more SMB partners to benefit from our platform.
This role is based in Manchester, reporting to the SMB Head of Sales. It is a hybrid position requiring presence in the Manchester office three days a week.
What You'll Do
1. Manage outbound SDRs to acquire quality partners, generate new sales opportunities, and utilize Salesforce effectively to track pipelines.
2. Identify development needs within the team and provide coaching to improve efficiency and performance.
3. Collaborate with Regional Sales Teams to share market insights and maximize sales opportunities.
4. Implement contact campaigns aligned with strategic contact strategies to meet performance metrics, including sales results and partner experience.
5. Create and analyze sales reports, developing clear action plans based on performance data.
6. Participate in weekly and stakeholder meetings to update on team progress.
7. Serve as an inspirational role model for your team.
About You
This fast-paced role requires a passion for people leadership and results delivery, with the ability to handle objections effectively. You should thrive in a target-driven environment.
The Required Skills
* At least 2 years of experience in a Sales Leadership role.
* Proven results in a Contact Centre environment.
* Strong negotiation skills to guide partners effectively.
The Desired Experiences
* Experience with Salesforce for customer management.
* Familiarity with High Velocity Sales tools.
* Experience with dialler technology, including power and predicted modes.
