Job responsibilities
1. Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
2. Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others.
3. Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems
4. Leads evaluation sessions with internal teams to drive outcomes-oriented probing of architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems and information architecture
5. Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies
6. Adds to team culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
7. Proficient in designing and implementing data pipelines for both batch and streaming use cases utilizingspark and public cloud-native technologies.
8. Experience developing applications on AWS Cloud, leveraging services such as Lambda, S3, Glue, Step Functions, Airflow and others third party data enterprise applications like Snowflake and Databricks.
9. Experience in Python Programming and AI development, with a focus on agentic systems.
10. Ability to independently design and implement complex logic, algorithms and workflows for scalable distributed systems.
11. Experience in Unix/Linux environments, including shell scripting for automaton and operational tasks.
12. Hands-on experience with CI/CD automation, build pipelines (Git, Jenkins, Maven and AI Code Assisting Tools.
13. Experience building distributed applications, event-driven systems and real-time processing pipelines.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
14. Experience in deploying, managing, and scaling containerized applications using Kubernetes, ensuring high availability and efficient resource utilization in cloud environments
15. Experience developing applications on AWS Cloud, leveraging services such as Lambda, S3, Glue, Redshift, Step Functions and others to build a scalable and reliable systems.
16. Experience in Java Programming and AI development, with a focus on agentic systems.
