Job Description:
What you’ll be doing:
* Functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment
* Authoring and reviewing technical documentation
* Managing associated technical risks, assumptions and dependencies
* Providing advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines
* Engaging with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems
* Leading and mentoring junior team members through the systems definition process
* Travel to various locations throughout the UK, including BAE, customer, and supplier sites
Your skills and experiences:
* Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
* Chartership in Engineering or significant progress towards it
* Knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Electrical Power Systems Definition team:
Working on the UK’s next-generation SSN design, defining equipment needs, system elements, and documentation, supporting the submarine design and build process, including spatial modeling and build outputs. Relocation support is available for eligible roles.
