The Position: Quality Management Lead - Civils
We are seeking a Quality Management Lead (Civils) to support the successful delivery of the Sizewell C project. You will act as the key point of contact for quality across a defined package of works, ensuring the supply chain delivers in line with strict quality requirements across the full project lifecycle.
Some of the main responsibilities of the Quality Management Lead will include:
Ensure supply chain compliance with contracted quality assurance and quality control requirements
Develop and implement Project Quality Control Plans and surveillance strategies
Review and monitor contractor Quality Assurance Plans and Inspection & Test Plans
Oversee manufacturing and construction surveillance activities, including inspections
Act as the “Intelligent Customer” for all quality-related activities across the supply chain
Collaborate closely with programme teams, contractors, and stakeholders to deliver consistent quality outcomes
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring quality is embedded across all stages of delivery, from design and procurement through to construction and commissioning, helping to deliver one of the UK’s most important infrastructure projects.
Strong experience in quality management within major infrastructure or safety-critical projects
Proven background in QA/QC across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and construction
Experience working with supply chains, including auditing and performance management
Ability to review and implement quality documentation such as ITPs and QA plans
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across multidisciplinary teams
Experience within the nuclear sector or highly regulated industries (desirable)
Reside locally to Sizewell C or be prepared to relocate, as this permanent role does not include travel expense coverage.
