Exciting opportunities have arisen for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to be part of our expanding team responsible for the Council’s on and off-street parking enforcement, undertaking patrols and issuing Penalty Charge Notices to those vehicles found to be in contravention of Traffic Regulation Orders.
To succeed in this role, you will have a good basic level of education and be able to read, understand and follow policies and procedures, along with experience of working in a customer based environment. You should also have a basic knowledge of Microsoft windows software and a good understanding of smart phones and how they operate. A knowledge and understanding of personal Health and Safety requirements is required.
You must have good verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain composed in difficult and conflicting situations. You should be customer focused with the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team.
You must have a flexible approach to work with a willingness to work overtime on weekends, be able to work outside in all weathers and be able to cope with the physical and emotional demands of the job.
A current driving licence is essential.
Working pattern:
Shift 2: Monday to Friday 10.30am to 6.30pm (1 hour unpaid break)
