An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Teledyne Microwave UK based in Lincoln for an Inside Sales Coordinator to join a busy Sales team.
As the Inside Sales Coordinator, you will report to the Head of Sales and play a vital part in supporting our customers and Account Managers throughout the full sales cycle — from initial enquiry and quotation through to order placement and delivery. You will work closely with colleagues across Engineering, Operations, Trade Compliance and Finance to ensure that quotes, orders and customer communications are accurate, timely and professionally managed. The role is fast‑paced and varied, requiring strong organisational skills, proactive communication, and meticulous attention to detail.
Our Sales team is based across three UK sites — Lincoln, Shipley (West Yorkshire) and Presteigne (Wales) — and we are now looking for an Inside Sales Coordinator to take the lead for inside sales activities at our Lincoln facility.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Quotation & Commercial Support
1. Prepare accurate, timely quotations in line with company pricing and approval policies.
2. Review customer specifications and coordinate inputs from Engineering, Operations and Finance as required.
3. Track quotation progress and support Account Managers with follow‑up actions.
Order Processing & Administration
4. Process customer purchase orders in SAP and support the internal contract review process.
5. Work with Planning and Operations teams to confirm delivery dates and production availability.
6. Monitor open orders, proactively communicate status updates, and manage any issues to closure.
Customer Communication
7. Act as a key point of contact for customer enquiries, including Return Material Authorisation (RMA) requests.
8. Provide clear, timely updates on pricing, lead times, order progress and documentation.
9. Support the business by engaging with customers on invoice payments, queries and end‑user details when required.
Sales Operations Support
10. Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in CRM (Salesforce) and SAP.
11. Proactively engage with internal stakeholders, including leading Daily Stand‑Up Meetings.
12. Prepare sales reports, dashboards and updates for Sales leadership.
13. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sales processes, tools and customer experience.
QUALITIES & EXPERIENCE:
Essential:
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
15. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
16. Confidence working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple priorities
17. Experience in inside sales, sales support, customer service or a similar role
18. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Desirable:
19. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, defence or aerospace
20. Familiarity with quotations, purchase orders or commercial documentation
21. Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems

Position based in the office in Lincoln 5 days per week, with working hours from 7.30-4 (Mon-Thurs) and 7.30-12.30 (Fri).
