Job Title: Category Manager
Location: London / Remote
Remuneration: £220 daily rate
Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract until 30 June 2026
Working Pattern: Full Time
Responsibilities:
* Lead the strategic direction of assigned product categories within the technology sector.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement category strategies that drive sales growth and enhance market position.
* Conduct thorough market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks within the category.
* Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to optimise costs and service levels.
* analyse sales performance and inventory management, providing insights to support decision-making.
* Monitor competitor activities and adjust strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
* Prepare and present regular reports to senior management, demonstrating category performance and strategic recommendations.
* Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the category management team.
* Support the development of marketing initiatives to promote products effectively.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the category lifecycle.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar role in the technology industry.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
* Proficient in market research techniques and competitive analysis.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong project management skills with a track record of delivering results on time.
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
