This is an exciting opportunity to work for a national organisation. The Association for Physical Education (afPE), is the national subject association for PE. A small but growing charity that provides guidance, support and quality assurance to schools, teachers, coaches, consultants, universities and trainee teachers around the teaching of physical education.
Duties
* Answering phone calls, taking messages and directing calls as appropriate
* Following up on member communications, ordering and billing and tracking the organisation's expenditure
* Invoicing members, businesses and organisations and collecting and updating company data and debt chasing
* Educating stakeholders about products and services and how to make a purchase
* Communicating with members, businesses and organisations through email and building positive relationships with them
* Making employee travel arrangements and helping with minor technical issues
* Preparing documents through editing, formatting and printing
* Supporting consultants who work with the afPE
* Any other duties as reasonably required.
Skills
* Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative functions
* Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* Excellent phone etiquette with strong verbal communication skills
* Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
* Highly detail-focused with an emphasis on accuracy
