Community Home Care – Sheffield (Specialist End-of-Life Care)
Precedo Healthcare is a trusted provider of high-quality home care services, supporting individuals living in their own homes across Sheffield, including those requiring specialist end-of-life (palliative) care.
This is a specialist role where compassion, dignity, and sensitivity are at the centre of everything you do, providing vital support to individuals and their families during some of life’s most important and challenging moments.

Based in Sheffield, our branch supports clients across all areas of the city. We are currently recruiting for both full-time and part-time Community Home Care Assistants to join our dedicated team.
We offer small, manageable care rounds and visits longer than 15 minutes, allowing time to deliver thoughtful, person-centred care.
Key responsibilities
* Provide specialist end-of-life and personalised care with dignity, kindness, and respect
* Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, meal preparation, and mobility
* Offer emotional support to service users and families where appropriate
* Monitor health and wellbeing and report any changes promptly
* Maintain accurate electronic care records using call monitoring systems
* Work closely in line with individual care plans to ensure comfort and quality of life
What we’re looking for
* Previous experience in care or support work is essential (additional training provided)
* Experience or understanding of palliative or end-of-life care is highly desirable
* A compassionate, patient, and emotionally resilient approach
* A genuine passion for supporting people with dignity at end of life
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (required)
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and late shifts
