Care Assistant Twilight Care and Support - Meadowvale Care Home Contract: Part Time Salary: £12.70 Per Hour Shift type: Twilight Contracted hours: 25 Meadowvale Care Home is a purpose built care home in Bathgate, West Lothian, providing exceptional Residential, Nursing, Dementia and Respite care for up to 60 residents. Care Assistant – Twilight Shift £12.70 per hour 25 hours per week Twilight shift 5pm to 10pm Paid PVG, Pension scheme, Uniform provided, Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full time contract Ongoing training and career progression opportunities The Role As a Care Assistant working the twilight shift, you will support residents during the evening period, helping them settle comfortably for the night while maintaining a calm and reassuring environment. You will provide personal care with dignity and respect, assist with mobility and repositioning, support with evening meals and hydration, and ensure residents feel safe, relaxed and valued. You will follow individual care plans carefully, report any changes in wellbeing to senior staff, and work closely with the wider team to maintain high standards of care and infection control. Your role is key in ensuring residents experience a smooth and comfortable transition into the night. We welcome both experienced Care Assistants and those new to care. If you are compassionate, reliable and willing to learn, full training and support will be provided.
