Purpose of role: Architectural, shopfitting and F&F platform, providing detailed information to all internal and external stakeholders globally who are involved in the construction of new stores, refits, retrofits and franchise, it is a key tool of expansion roadmap.
This role manages all the architectural, shopfitting and services data held on guru. Responsible for generating all relevant information, page creation and data uploads and hyper links onto the beta guru system in line with agreed UI standards. Working closely with 3rd party technical team and internal construction and new store teams to ensure all information on guru accurate and up to date across all channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manger and creator of all architectural standards relating to but not exclusively Lighting, RCPs, Façades, External signage, BOH standard details (staff and stock areas), FOH standard details, Flooring, shopfitting details and services (SCO, Fitting rooms, Cash desk)
* Responsible for the creation, management and upkeep of all information relating to Shopfitting equipment (wall systems, fixed equipment etc) including content creation and management of all technical drawings, drawing registers, 3d drawings and data sheets as required for the purpose of feasibility, tendering and production
* Responsible for the upkeep of all information relating to Services (Tills, Fitting rooms, C+C, Boh) including content creation, acquisition and checking including creating technical drawings, 3d drawings and data sheets as required for the purpose of feasibility, tendering and production
* Principle contact working cross functionally with construction, design, architects and other 3rd parties to develop all architectural details for Guru. (flooring, lighting, facades, stock room, staff room etc wall and ceiling finishes etc)
* Responsible of the creating and testing of all beta Guru pages holding architectural details
* Management of all tech drawings and data formatting prior to uploading onto guru
* Represent Guru at all architectural forums providing updates and taking feedback to implement as appropriate for the ongoing development of the system
* Responsible for all checking, formatting and preparation of architectural, shopfit and services information for all channels of Guru including but not exclusively, New stores, Refits, Retrofits, Home stores, New store concepts to ensure Guru works at peak efficiency.
* Page creation, Hyper link creation and testing within beta environment working to Guru rulebook and UI standards to ensure optimal efficiency of the platform
* PK code generation and management for all shopfit and service items as required
* Work closely with the Guru system manager to obtain and gain approval of external works costs
* Mange the briefing, development, and upload of content from stakeholders
* Upload and testing of all architectural and shopfit information.
* Upskilling and training technical support for users
* Shopfit smart blocks creation and store space testing for all shopfit elements
* Manage all relevant content and database of shopfit and architectural details, inc archiving of superseded information.

Essential knowledge, education, skills and experience:
• A Degree in Architecture or Design, or minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail design
• Experience working with similar systems
• Must be fluent in all aspects of retail architecture, shopfitting and F+F.
• Knowledge of materials and construction methods
• Proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe applications is preferential
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and office is required
• Must have a high level of design skills
• Must have a high level of project management skills
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, ability to trouble shoot during the course of a project
• Strong organizational skills with a can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lead and work well as part of a team and cross functionally with other teams to ensure
successful projects
• Proven ability in managing sensitive matters whilst ensuring all information remains
confidential to the business.
• Must be able to work well under tight deadlines and able to reprioritize efficiently
• Self-starter able to work under own initiative, taking projects from start to finish
