Pinnacle Recruitment are currently looking for a Commissioning Manager to lead commissioning activities for Water and Wastewater infrastructure projects on the AMP8 frameworks.
Salary – 70,000 – 78,000 + pkg
Duties;
* Develop and manage commissioning plans, including timelines, resources, and testing procedures.
* Ensure adherence to company procedures, regulatory requirements, and project guidelines.
* Oversee various testing procedures, including manual, automatic, and performance testing.
* Prepare and maintain detailed commissioning records, including site observations, test results, and checklists.
* Manage the commissioning team, including selection, training, and development.
* Communicate effectively with project managers and clients throughout the commissioning process.
* Ensure the quality of the commissioning process and the final product meets project requirements.
* Manage the handover of the completed project to the client, ensuring they have the necessary documentation and support.
* Identify and resolve any issues or problems that arise during the commissioning process.
* Identify opportunities for improvement in the commissioning process and implement changes to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem–solving skill
Requirements
* Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Process Engineering.
* CSCS, SMSTS, or equivalent safety certification
* Significant demonstrable experience in a construction/commissioning role some of which should be at a senior level
* Proven experience in commissioning water/wastewater treatment projects.
* Strong knowledge of AMP frameworks and UK water industry standards.
* Experience working with contractors or water utility companies.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and teams effectively.
* Strong problem–solving and decision–making skills.
* Knowledge of ICA (Instrumentation, Control & Automation) and process systems is desirable.
