Main responsibilities: Undertake all aspects of Grounds and Facility maintenance across a diverse range of company operational sites, land, and property. The work is varied and includes, but is not limited to, mowing large, grassed areas (including storage reservoir embankments), strimming, blowing off, edge cutting, weeding, hedge cutting, minor tree work, fencing, gulley emptying, litter picking, gutter clearing, evasive/reportable weed control, and snow clearing. Ensure all cutting schedules are completed efficiently and within defined timescales. Operate all machinery and equipment strictly in accordance with the manufacturer's operating instructions. Ensure all machinery and equipment is kept in a serviceable condition, completing all relevant check sheets promptly for inspections and auditing. Undertake all tasks with due consideration for related Health & Safety Regulations, Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and Company Policy and Procedures. Ensure all tasks are undertaken with due care and consideration for the Environment, adjoining land/property owners, and members of the public. Carry out basic facility maintenance work, which may include decoration, temporary security repairs, emergency cover repairs, and any other work covered by your skills and training. You'll need: Skills / Qualifications / Experience The post holder is required to be self-motivated, committed and organised with excellent knowledge and use of grounds maintenance machinery, ride on mowers, bank mowers, strimmers, chippers and all associated equipment. Must have Basic D.I.Y knowledge. A valid driving licence is essential as is experience of towing a plant trailer. Fencing experience and Chainsaw certification is desirable.
