Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Content Creator to join our dynamic team. You will operate in an exciting environment where no two days are the same. You will be running the digital marketing and social media channels for the HICO Group of companies, supporting our work across farming, weddings and events, and, property.

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of digital marketing, who can comfortably run our range of accounts across several social media platforms and can quickly pick up the 'voice' of our different divisions. Someone with a great eye for a story, with an ability to produce the videos and images needed to tell it.

We need someone who is a strong all-rounder with an understanding of what makes effective communication, with the copywriting and graphic design skills to match. This role involves creating engaging content across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand voice and business objectives. The successful applicant will be adept at utilising SEO techniques and content management systems to increase customer engagement.

Responsibilities

* ·Manage the Companies digital and social media channels day-to- day to engage and grow audiences.
* Implement SEO best practices to optimise content for search engines and improve visibility.
* Engage in social media management, crafting posts that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement with business goals.
* Run social media campaigns that contribute towards specific objectives, using audience insights, engagement analytics and content audits.
* Produce compelling visual content, including photography, videography and web page design.
* Build and develop the Company's picture and media library, ensuring assets are catalogued and up-to-date and ensuring appropriate data policies are followed.
* Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics to assess the effectiveness of content initiatives.
* Conduct research and analysis on industry trends to inform content creation and strategy.
* Actively engage with all staff. Stay up to date with organisational strategy and priorities. Identify trends in the various markets within which the Company operates and respond appropriately to feedback from customers and other stakeholders in order to reinforce brand values.
* Undertake occasional work outside normal hours and provide short-term cover where necessary in support of the business.
* · Supporting the COO in the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of communications activities.

Experience

Essential Requirements:

* At least 1-2 years' experience within a communications/marketing environment, with demonstrable content creation skills across different social media platforms.

* Demonstratable evidence of ability to create engaging content - visual and print - for a variety of audiences.

* Knowledge of the principles of effective social media communication alongside experience of managing social media channels and using social media management and evaluation tools.

* Experience of working on website or intranet content management systems.

* Able to gather insight, analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to inform future design and creative approaches.

* Ability to work in close collaboration within a team as well as independently, and able to take direction.

* Good organisational, planning and time management skills with the ability to prioritise to meet deadlines and deal with multiple tasks at one time.

* Positive attitude towards learning and development, demonstrated by a record of continuing professional development.

Desirable skills:

* Knowledge of email marketing practices including Mailchimp and SurveyMonkey (or similar)

* Video editing experience

* Experience of delivering low cost marketing materials using graphic design tools

* Evidence of working successfully as part of a dynamic small team

* Flexibility to travel between sites.

* An appropriate qualification in communications, marketing, journalism or related discipline is desirable but practical application of skills is more important.

*The advertised salary is full time pro-rata. Part time work of 2 or 3 days per week would be 2/5 or 3/5 of the advertised salary.

Pay: £27,000.00 per year
