The hourly rate for this role is £12.69 and up to £14.05 across selected locations within London.

What you’ll be doing day to day
Providing health advice through focused conversations and delivering accurate answers.
Your duties will include:
1. Tailoring conversations to ensure customers leave informed and confident about their healthcare needs.
2. Handling technical dispensary tasks such as ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, endorsing, and collecting prescriptions.
3. Ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
4. Engaging with GPs and practice teams to promote services and products.
5. Maintaining efficient dispensary operations and minimizing losses.
What you’ll need to have
Applicants should have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services and experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser. Completion of a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent is required, with support available for training if needed.
Opportunities for further professional development include achieving NVQ Level 3 (QCF) in Pharmacy Services and registering with GPHC as a Pharmacy Technician, potentially leading to an Accuracy Checking Pharmacy Technician role.
