About the job
Our Digital Marketing Executive will work within our commercial function and report into the Head of Digital and Marketing. You will play a key role in a small, dynamic and multi-functional team that is playing a key part in the future of sustainable transport. You will work with the marketing and commercial team and external agencies, interfacing with all elements of the customer proposition and touchpoints, to ensure that the customer experience and marketing sales strategy for Lumo are delivered. You will be involved with every aspect of our marketing plan, working with digital and media agencies along with our internal team and Lumo Brand Ambassadors.
The Digital Marketing Executive will maintain our communications with customers across all channels and lead the execution and optimisation of our digital marketing campaigns, and work with the Head of Digital and Marketing to ensure a consistent and impactful online presence for our customers. This role would suit someone looking to build on existing experience and is interested in working in a fast-paced results focused business across multiple marketing channels including website content, social media, email marketing, SEO and paid advertising. The role also includes developing local partnerships and events and support with PR.
Skills & Experience:
* Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
* Experience of working in a fast-paced results focused business across multiple marketing channels including social media, email marketing, SEO and paid advertising.
* Experience of managing social media content with strong writing and editing skills.
* Monitor social media channels for trends, customer feedback, and engagement opportunities.
* Experience of managing website and email content for a customer facing business.
* Experience of improving customer experience on websites and apps both in terms of customer information and functionality.
* Experience of delivering paid acquisition campaigns online.
* Experience of understanding data and digital analytics in GA4.
* Experience of working with tools such as Canva, Photoshop and using a website CMS.
* Strong analytical skills to use data interpretation and customer insight to identify new opportunities for the business.
* Commercially & digitally astute with good judgment and decision-making abilities.
* An understanding of transport, hospitality, tourism or leisure marketing.
* Understanding of online marketing and optimisation techniques that can be used to drive traffic, conversion and engagement.
* Willing to work towards becoming a Train Operator Liaison Officer (TOLO).
* Desirable to have active CPD / membership of professional body or willing to or working towards a Chartered Institute of Marketing Diploma.
About the location
Based in Newcastle upon Tyne. You must live within a 60 minute commute.
Working pattern
37.5 hours per week.
