Position Overview
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is a General Medical Council (GMC) Sponsor employer. We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to work at Magnolia Ward at Farnham Road Hospital. This post is for either a full‑time or part‑time Consultant Psychiatrist as part of the Acute Care Pathway.
Recruitment and retention payment of £25,000 (pro‑rated for part‑time employees) plus an £8,000 relocation allowance. Full terms are available from the Medical Recruitment Team.
Responsibilities
* Provide clinical input and leadership to inpatients in Magnolia Ward.
* Work alongside a multidisciplinary team in line with New Ways of Working.
* Collaborate with home treatment and community teams to ensure efficient care pathways.
* Support the 10‑bed Juniper ward and cover 8 beds with a 0.6 WTE subsidiary consultant.
* Work closely with the other consultant and multidisciplinary staff, including trainees.
* Deliver consultant input per the agreed Acute Service Operational Policy.

* Salary: NHS Consultant Grade £109,725 – £145,478 + £149 fringe
* Recruitment premia: £25,000 (subject to policy requirement)
