Are you a proactive, organised leader with a strong trade background? We’re looking for a Voids Supervisor to take charge of the day-to-day delivery of our voids programme—ensuring properties are repaired, refurbished, and ready to the highest standards.
The Role
As Voids Supervisor, you’ll be the vital link between operatives, subcontractors, housing officers, admin teams, and client representatives. You’ll oversee works on site, carry out inspections, and resolve issues quickly to keep everything running smoothly. Your focus will be on delivering safe, compliant, and high-quality homes that meet contract KPIs and exceed client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily delivery of voids works, ensuring productivity and quality.

Carry out pre- and post-inspections, scope properties, and raise accurate orders.

Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to meet time, quality, and compliance standards.

Liaise with housing officers, clients, and residents to resolve queries professionally.
*
Monitor progress and ensure works meet KPIs.
*
Complete and review compliance paperwork (risk assessments, method statements, toolbox talks).
*
Promote safe working practices through site checks and inspections.
*
Support scheduling and planning with supervisors and admin teams.
*
Mentor apprentices and encourage a positive team culture.
*
Maintain tidy, safe, and compliant site standards.
*
Prepare reports and documentation to company procedures and deadlines.
About You
You’re a confident people manager with strong trade knowledge and proven experience supervising maintenance or voids works. You thrive under pressure, make sound decisions, and keep multiple jobs moving at pace without compromising on quality. Clear communication, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to resident satisfaction are at the heart of how you work.
Requirements

Experience supervising operatives on maintenance or voids contracts.
*
Strong trade background with knowledge of repairs/refurbishment processes.
*
Good working knowledge of Schedule of Rates (SOR).
*
CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
*
IT literate with ability to complete reports and digital records.
*
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
*
Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
*
Clean DBS (or ability to obtain one)
