Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operations Manager located at our West Bromwich facility. The Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring efficiency in production processes, managing resources and staff, and maintaining quality standards within the manufacturing facility. The Operations Manager will drive all functions/departments to ensure daily, weekly and monthly site objectives and targets are met. Identify and implement continuous improvement actions and projects to production processes through problem-solving techniques, to improve output and product quality and to reduce costs.
Required Qualifications/Experience
* Operations Management, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management skills
* Deep knowledge in manufacturing processes and quality control methodologies
* Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
* Strong communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations, practices, and behaviours
* Ability to analyse data and make strategic decisions
* Ideally a degree or relevant technical qualification in an engineering or manufacturing discipline, with a least 5 years of experience in manufacturing management
* Experience in the automotive or industrial manufacturing industry is a plus
