Role:HGV – Tipper Driver
Salary:£13.50 per hour + Overtime
Location: Pocklington, YO42 1NR
We are expanding our team and are currently hiring drivers to join our 8-wheel tipper fleet!
As an HGV Driver at Ashcourt, you will be contracted to work 40 hours per week. Overtime is paid at a rate of £20.25 per hour for any hours worked beyond the first 45.
Key responsibilities:
To operate HGV Cat C vehicles, following all HGV driver & traffic laws
To operate the vehicle safely and professionally
To drive long or short distances as required
To help plan schedules & routes with your line manager
To follow traffic reports and adapt routes as necessary
To conduct accurate & thorough pre-use defect/cleanliness inspections of your vehicle
To complete proof of deliveries on a tablet
To ensure vehicle cab is kept in a clean & tidy condition
As a Driver at Ashcourt, you will have:
A valid HGV Cat C license
Tachograph card
Up to date CPC
A minimum of 1 years’ experience as a HGV/Tipper driver
Maximum of 6 points on your licence
Valid right to work in the UK
