As a Consultant Neurologist in the Private Sector, you will be responsible for delivering expert clinical services, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques, and playing a crucial role in patient management and treatment planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with a wide range of neurological conditions
* Perform and interpret neurological tests, including EEGs, MRIs, and other imaging modalities
* Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
* Provide patient education and counseling regarding neurological disorders and therapies
* Maintain detailed and accurate patient records in compliance with medical standards
* Stay abreast of the latest developments in neurology and integrate new knowledge into clinical practice
* Participate in quality improvement and clinical governance activities
Requirements
* Medical degree with specialist qualification in Neurology
* Valid license to practice as a Consultant Neurologist
* Experience working in the private healthcare sector is highly desirable
* Proficient in diagnostic procedures and interpretation related to neurology
* Excellent clinical and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Strong organizational and record-keeping abilities
* Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development
* Board certification in Neurology or equivalent
