Potentia Search is partnered with an award-winning membrane technology company involved in water treatment, wastewater reuse, and potable water production. They seek to hire a talented Regional Sales Manager to expand their presence in the UK & Ireland.
The Regional Sales Manager contributes to achieving sales targets set by the Sales Director. The role involves customer contact with new and existing clients in the Water Business, selling membrane modules to OEMs, municipal, and industrial customers. Generating new leads and maintaining a strong network within the water industry in the region are essential parts of the role.
How can you contribute?
The role's purpose is to manage and expand sales activities, find new leads, and develop lasting relationships with customers and stakeholders in the water segment. Reporting to the Sales Director for Northern, Western, and Eastern Europe, the responsibilities include:
* Building and maintaining strong relationships based on trust, respect, and cooperation with clients in the region.
* Preparing and submitting proposals and quotations to customers.
* Coordinating sales activities and communicating customer requirements with other departments such as engineering, marketing, production, logistics, and operations.
* Attending trade fairs and preparing samples and promotional materials.
* Maximizing sales and gross margin of standard products and components.
* Negotiating and closing sales contracts.
* Generating sales opportunities and leads.
* Supporting engineers in customer communication during project delivery and implementation.
* Providing market feedback on industry developments, customers, competitors, and trends.
* Ensuring systematic follow-up of offers and recording them in the CRM system (Salesforce).
Who are you?
* BSc. or MSc. in a technical or combined technical/commercial field.
* Work experience in a sales-driven role.
* Experience in the water industry, especially membrane technology, is desirable.
* Experience using CRM systems to manage sales processes and forecast sales.
* Strong time management skills.
* Fluency in English; proficiency in another language is a plus.
* Willingness to travel for customer contact and site visits.
