The Job Role
As a PE Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering high-quality PE lessons to students across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4) in line with the National Curriculum.
* Inspiring students to develop their skills, teamwork, and enthusiasm for physical activity.
* Effectively managing classroom behaviour to foster a positive learning environment.
* Preparing and assessing students’ work to monitor and support their progress.
* Adapting to various school settings and building strong relationships with students and staff.
* Participating in extracurricular sports activities when required.
Required Skills and Experience
We are looking for a PE Teacher with:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or recognition as an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
* Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for PE and excellent subject expertise.
* Effective classroom and behaviour management skills.
* The ability to adapt to a variety of Secondary Schools and year groups.
* A genuine passion for teaching and promoting health and fitness.
