Job Overview:
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by assisting in various maintenance tasks. You will be responsible for supporting the maintenance team in conducting repairs, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring that all equipment is in optimal working condition.
Duties:
- Assist in general maintenance tasks such as repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and conducting routine inspections.
- Work with the maintenance team to address electrical and mechanical problems efficiently.
- Support in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory levels.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and complete work orders in a timely manner.
- Assist in supervising external contractors when necessary.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Experience:
- Proficiency in reading schematics and understanding technical drawings.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and mechanical components.
- Prior experience in customer service roles is advantageous.
- Ability to supervise tasks effectively and work well within a team.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and welding techniques is a plus.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Capacity to maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues effectively.
