We are currently recruiting for a Housing Management Support Worker to work for a rewarding Charity who provide practical help and personalised support through their education, housing, justice and health and wellbeing services. 37.5 hours per week Full driving license and car owner essential £18.50 per hour via Umbrella Company (£26,807 annual equivalent) This role will support service users across charity properties locally ensuring they maintain their tenancy agreement and also to allow them access to 3rd party support services, etc. The role will be based from the Colchester office and will require across Essex. This role will be providing support for vulnerable service users offering a person centred support ensuring service users build confidence and independence as well as providing housing and property management solutions with the aim of achieving a successful move-on as well as supporting users with access to support services. Service users can include those at risk of homelessness, suffering from mental health and substance misuse issues, families and asylum seekers, etc. The ideal candidate will ideally have some previous support work or housing experience in a similar sector and have a passion for supporting and helping others from vulnerable backgrounds such as mental health, substance misuse, homelessness, etc. You will have a understanding of safeguarding people.
