Overview

PMCM Energy Sector Growth Lead role at WSP.


Responsibilities

* Lead development, ongoing co-ordination and updates of 3-year Energy strategy.
* Lead and champion PMCM Energy related Key Account Management.
* Lead PMCM Energy related Business Development - internal and Client facing.
* Lead Strategic level bids and lead the initial phase of delivery.
* Strategic overview of Energy markets and key opportunities, maintaining pipeline.
* Lead and develop Energy client management, pursuit management and authoring capabilities.

* The ability to be a confident leader with proven strategy, business growth and delivery experience in the broad Energy sector.
* Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment.
* The ability to effectively engage others to achieve sector goals.
* A hard-working self-starter with initiative, able to set own and sector priorities.
* The ability to work in complex organisations in a team environment and develop relationships and rapport with external clients and internal colleagues.
* Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to influence and interact with people at all levels in a diplomatic and persuasive manner.
* The ability to establish effective working relationships with executive stakeholders.
* The ability to work at a strategic level as well as being ‘hands on’ when required.
* Confident enough to be able to use their initiative – proven experience of making things happen.
* The ability to work with a considerable amount of complex and detailed information.
* Professional manner and able to work effectively under pressure, supporting others to do the same.
* Strong organisational skills – can effectively manage several projects concurrently, ensuring that all deadlines are met.
* The ability to deal with conflicting priorities and to offer positive solutions.


Qualifications

* Focus on essential qualifications, skills and experience. The ability to work closely with WSP colleagues and clients at a senior level.
* Demonstrable PMCM Energy sector knowledge and experience at senior level and with a senior network. Ideally in more than one area including Nuclear New Build, Nuclear Decommissioning, SMRs, Renewables, Energy Transmission.
* Proven Key client management skills – able to develop/maintain excellent client relationships ensuring repeat business and continually improved client satisfaction.
* The ability to think strategically and lead the development and implementation of strategy.
* The ability to identify and develop business opportunities from initial discussions through to bid submissions and bid win.
* The ability to demonstrate the ability to network and grow relationships in a complex organisation both internally and externally.
* An understanding of all the services WSP can offer, and proactively integrate these for the best client delivery.
