Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Nights
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off - Nights (12-hour shifts)

Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two nights are the same?
We're seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our engineering team at a leading FMCG manufacturer. Your role will involve maintaining production lines through planned maintenance and quick response to breakdowns. If you enjoy hands-on work and solving problems under pressure, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Responsibilities include:
* Performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production and packaging machinery.
* Responding to electrical and mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
* Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and root cause analysis.
* Working with equipment such as conveyors, motors, pumps, sensors, and control panels.
* Ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards.
* Documenting maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
Requirements for the Nights Maintenance Engineer:
* Qualified in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
* Multi-skilled with an electrical or mechanical bias.
* Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or armed forces backgrounds (RAF, Navy, REME, Marines, British Army).
* Strong fault-finding skills with knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
* Willing to work permanently night shifts.
