*About this role*
The positions are responsible for the psychiatric and assessment and treatment of persons under their direct care across the State Forensic Mental Health Services including Admitted, Community, Prisons, Consultation-Liaison and Court services. The role will provide clinical leadership, coordination, and direction to a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to delivering evidence based best practice treatment. The role involves evaluating the provision of person centred-care coordination, within recovery orientated model. Additionally, the Consultant Psychiatrist will supervise Trainee Psychiatrists, participate in teaching and research activities, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
The role reports to the Head of Service - Consultant Psychiatrist and oversees multiple positions.
