Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Working Foreman to join our growing team. The role is ideal for someone with a trade background, preferably carpentry, who is also multi-skilled across general building. You'll be responsible for running small to medium renovation and construction projects, typically up to a value of £500k.
This is a practical, on-the-tools role as well as a supervisory one. You'll lead subcontractors, organise day-to-day works, and ensure quality and safety standards are met, while also carrying out building tasks yourself. Projects include everything from structural steels to plasterboarding and general renovation works.
We work on a mixture of direct-to-client projects and our own in-house developments, so the role offers a variety of challenges and the chance to see jobs through from start to finish. You'll also be provided with a company email to handle tasks, liaise with clients and suppliers, and keep communication clear and professional.
We want someone who can take ownership of a job, read drawings, plan ahead, and keep things moving. You'll act as the link between directors, clients, and trades, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
