Established for over 22 years our Client has seen many changes across the UK Manufacturing Sector. During this time our Client has continued to evolve and expand their offering to the Construction Sector meaning that they have a need to appoint a stand alone Management Accountant who can take direct control of a subsidiary Group Company which has a TO over just over £5m.
WHAT IS AN OFFER FOR THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
* Annual Salary of c £45,000

WHO IS THE NEW MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
The Management Accountant will be Qualified CIMA or ACCA. You will be a hands on character who whilst being supported by the Group Finance Director will able to make their own commercial decisions and be able plan and manage own workloads.
You will be comfortable to training Finance / Accounts staff within the larger Finance team.
THE ROLE OF THE MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT
You will be responsible for the end to end preparation / submission and review of a complete set of Monthly Management Accounts. To be included in the Management Accounts pack will be ;
* a range of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* detailed analysis of Gross Profit and Loss across each Manufacturing Project and Product
* be able to prepare and review detailed Financial Notes of Explanation – being able to break down and explain Financial Risks to Non Finance Managers
* preparation / review and submission of Daily / Weekly / Monthly Cash Flow – building a close relationships with Finance Institutions
* be responsible for VAT / HMRC Tax Computations and Submissions
* be part of the wider Finance team who prepares for Year End and works closely with external Auditors
* ad hoc duties as needed
