CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Technical Facilities Manager.
The purpose of the role is to oversee the operational delivery of all Facility Management services with hands-on responsibilities, based in Portsmouth.
Responsibilities and daily activities:
* Ensure compliance with legislative, Client, and CBRE Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
* Coordinate budgets, forecasting, and report out-of-line situations with the multi-site Facilities Manager.
* Approve invoices and related documents for payment.
* Deliver all FM Operations SLA's in accordance with KPIs and output measurements.
* Coordinate with operations teams and third-party suppliers to meet service level agreements.
* Support and monitor third-party maintenance activities, reporting any corrective works.
* Work with project managers to ensure integrated FM/projects delivery.
* Report accidents, occupational illnesses, and emergencies within 12 hours.
* Ensure contractors operate within QHSE standards.
* Conduct monthly SLA checks supporting quarterly contract performance.
* Create site procedures aligned with Honeywell standards.
* Maintain the site's image and visual standards, addressing issues proactively.
* Manage and develop the local team, fostering motivation and communication.
* Understand customer requirements, address concerns, and keep clients informed.
* Coordinate operations including cleaning, catering, security, technical services, and subcontractors.
* Use CMMS to log maintenance and work requests.
* Manage asset registers, maintenance plans, and capital budgets.
* Coordinate out-of-hours support when needed.
* Develop relationships with key clients and promote a 'One Team' approach.
* Maintain professional image and brand consistency with central support.
Additionally, actively seek scope increases and responsibilities through change control processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Engineering or technical qualification with experience in managing technical service delivery for facilities.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in facilities management of hard and soft services, or equivalent qualification.
* People management and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
* Ability to meet deadlines and exceed SLA expectations.
* Knowledge of the Facilities Management industry and HSE standards.
* Experience delivering technical projects on time, preferably in manufacturing/production environments.
* Experience working with supply partners for seamless service delivery.
* Experience with CMMS (Work Order Management processes).
