Rutherford Cross is working with a premium Drinks business based in the West of Glasgow to recruit for a Commercial Finance Assistant Manager. The Commercial Finance team plays an integral part in shaping the decision-making across the business. The main duties and responsibilities will involve: Liaising with International sales teams, including working on pricing and value chains Gathering, analysing and reporting management information for the Board each month Analysing market data to provide insights and shape strategy Reporting and analysing sales data Providing sales and marketing teams (UK and International) with appropriate weekly, monthly and ad hoc reports Ad hoc data and analysis for the Head of Commercial Finance and Sales and Marketing leads Assisting with the annual budgeting process Analysing and reporting across all sectors of the business (International, UK and Bulk Spirit Supply) Analysing and reporting on customer and brand profitability Carrying out analysis and reporting on market trends Manipulating data and completing reports on an ad hoc basis Working closely with the marketing team and various other functions within the business Supporting the Commercial Finance team with projects as required A summary of the key candidate requirements are as follows: Fully qualified or qualified by experience accountant A natural self starter, curious to learn and develop within a fast paced environment Capability to manage different priorities and flexible to ensure required timescales are met Strong data analysis and reporting experience A keen eye for detail, ability to produce accurate reports and present information clearly Excellent commercial acumen, curious to understand the drivers of a business Great communicator, natural ability to business partner across the organisation Prior experience in a commercial finance or financial analysis role within Drinks sector would be advantageous On offer is a highly attractive salary up to £55,000 with 15% discretionary bonus on top. A generous annual leave allowance is available of 34 days, with the opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days. The business is office based and offer an earlier finish at 2pm on a Friday.
