We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Cambridge who are recruiting for a Part-Time Payroll Manager on a full-time permanent basis. To be successful, you will have experience in a similar role
Typical duties include:
* Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations for the organisation
* Providing guidance to internal teams on payroll policies and procedures
* Supporting audits and ensuring accurate payroll reporting for finance and HR teams
* Identifying opportunities to streamline and improve payroll processes
* Developing and maintaining payroll procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Preparing and reviewing payroll-related reports for senior management
* Monitoring changes in payroll legislation and implementing required updates
* Collaborating with HR and Finance to ensure alignment between payroll, benefits, and employee data
* Training and mentoring payroll staff to support their professional development
* Any other ad-hoc duties where required
You will have:
* CIPP Qualification preferred
* Experience overseeing day-to-day payroll processes
* Ability to manage your own workload effectively
* Excellent communication, both written and verbal
