OzHarvest is a leading food rescue organisation on a mission to ‘Nourish our Country’ by stopping good food from going to waste and delivering it to charities that help feed people in need. Through our education programs and our advocacy work, we hope to inspire others to change their behaviour and help reach the national target of halving food waste by 2030.
About the role:
We are seeking a Casual Chef to join our amazing team in the kitchens for our Cooking for a Cause program! The primary focus of the CFAC Chef is to deliver team building cooking sessions to corporate supporters, utilising quality rescued food to produce nourishing meals innovatively and creatively within the Newcastle Community.
Responsibilities of the role include:
* Delivering the CFAC program with passion, motivating and mingling with guests, facilitating discussion about OzHarvest and the work we do
* Presenting engaging cooking classes within the designated time frame
* Ensuring that appropriate WHS information is conveyed

* Experience in leading and training team
